SOUTH WEST TRAINS HEALTH AND SAFETY REPRESENTATION

(LOCAL CONSTITUENCY CHANGES)

Further to concerns being raised by Feltham Branch on the proposals to change the Health and Safety Reps’ constituencies, a meeting was held at Head Office with the Regional Organiser, members of the Executive Committee and representatives of the Retail Company Council.

A report from the meeting was put in front of the Southern Sub-Committee for their consideration.

The General Grades Committee, at its meeting of the 9th of February 2012, noted and adopted the following report:

“That we note the latest report on file from our Lead Officer and that the concerns regarding local constituencies have been addressed.

Therefore we instruct the General Secretary to inform South West Trains of our agreements to the changes.

Further, we instruct the General Secretary to merge this file with the file SWT H&S Representation (Local Constituency Changes).”
